Are you a Sales Manager with experience in sea freight and in developing customer relationships? Do you want to contribute to the growth of a logistics organization where the customer is central? At GD-iTS Group, Ocean Division, we are looking for a Sales Manager to improve our ocean freight business.

What are you going to do?

  • Drafting and executing a strategic sales plan focused on ocean freight.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with shippers and agents.
  • About 80% hunting and 20% accountmanagement.
  • Building, managing and expanding long-term relationships with your customers.
  • Visiting (international) networking events and conferences.
  • Identifying new commercial opportunities and translating them into concrete actions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide customer-centric solutions.
  • Managing and supervising a small office team.
  • Reporting results to management and making adjustments where necessary.

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager Ocean?

  • Achieving revenue growth and contributing to commercial objectives.
  • Expanding the customer network within the sea freight sector.
  • Representing the organization at external relations and events.
  • Increasing customer satisfaction through active follow-up and involvement.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between sales and operations.

This is you?

  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial position within the logistics sector.
  • Good knowledge of the sea freight market and a relevant network.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets and setting up sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Being able to work independently and be a team player at the same time.
