GD-iTS Holding B.V. and its operating companies, G. van Doesburg Internationaal Transport B.V., G. van Doesburg Materieel B.V., GD-iTS Forwarding B.V. and GD-iTS Warehousing B.V., hereinafter referred to as “GD-iTS,” are committed to protecting your personal data. The aim of this Privacy statement is to provide clear and transparent information on how we handle personal data. We do our best to ensure your privacy and handle all personal data with utmost care. GD-iTS always complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes at least, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Processing your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which it was provided, these purposes and types of personal data are described in this Privacy statement;
  • Processing only data that is strictly necessary for the execution of the purposes for which it was provided;

Processing of personal data from customers or suppliers

GD-iTS processes customer and supplier personal data for the following purposes:

  • Administrative purposes;
  • Communication about an order and/or invitations;
  • Executing or issuing an order.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • The agreed order;

GD-iTS may request the following personal data for the above-mentioned purpose(s):

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;
  • Gender.

Your personal data will be stored by GD-iTS for the aforementioned purposes for the duration of the agreement and, in the financial administration, a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data of subscribers of our newsletter

GD-iTS processes subscribers’ personal data for the following purposes:

  • Informing the person by means of newsletters.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • The subscription form for the newsletter.

GD-iTS Forwarding B.V. may request the following personal data for the above-mentioned purpose(s):

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • Email address.

Your personal data will be stored by GD-iTS for the aforementioned purposes for the duration of the subscription.

Processing of personal data of prospects, stakeholders/lobby contacts and/or interested parties GD-iTS processes prospect, stakeholder/lobby contact and/or interested party personal data for the following purposes:

  • Providing information by means of newsletters and/or targeted contact.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • Verbal consent, leaving a business card and/or linking on LinkedIn;

GD-iTS may request the following personal data for the above-mentioned purpose(s):

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address.

Your personal data will be stored by GD-iTS for the aforementioned purposes for the duration that someone is seen as a prospect, stakeholder/lobby contact and/or interested party.

Processing of personal data from Employees

GD-iTS processes employee personal data for the following purposes:

  • Executing the labour agreement.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • The labour agreement.

GD-iTS may request the following personal data for the above-mentioned purpose(s):

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address.
  • Date of birth;
  • Salary details;
  • Copy of ID;
  • BSN;
  • Bank details.

Your personal data will be stored by GD-iTS for the aforementioned purposes for the duration of the contract and, in the financial administration, for a maximum of 7 years.

Providing personal data to third parties

We may share the information you provide to us with third parties where this is necessary to carry out the above-mentioned purposes. We use a third party for, but not limited to, the following purposes:

  • Providing the internet environment;
  • Providing financial and other administration;
  • Providing newsletters and invitations.

We never transfer personal data to third parties with whom we have not entered into a processing agreement. We always enter into the necessary agreements with these parties/processors to ensure the security of your personal data. We will not share the information you provide us with third parties unless this is legally required and permitted. An example is if the police request data from us as part of an investigation. We must then cooperate and are therefore required by law to hand over this data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us written consent to do so.

Within the EU

We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the EU.

Minors

We only process personal data of minors, persons younger than 16 years old, if written consent is given by the parent, guardian or legal representative.

Retention period

GD-iTS does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or than is required by law.

Security

We have taken the following technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unlawful processing;

  • All persons who have access to your data on behalf of GD-iTS are bound to secrecy.
  • We maintain a username and password policy on all of our systems;
  • We pseudonymise and ensure the encryption of personal data when necessary;
  • We make backups of personal data so that we can restore this in the case of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our employees are informed of the importance of protecting personal data.

Rights regarding your data

You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data that we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of all or part of your personal data by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to request us to transfer data you have provided to yourself or directly to another party on your behalf. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests. If you consent to us processing your personal data, you always have the right to withdraw this consent.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, please contact us directly regarding this. If we cannot come to an agreement together, you always have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch DPA. This is the supervisory authority for privacy protection.
