From our centrally located office in Zaltbommel, we offer broad-based transport services throughout Europe. We are particularly strong in transport within the Benelux and to Italy. Container transport

The options for container transport within Europe are diverse. Our containers come in various sizes, such as 20, 40 and 45 ft, as well as High Cube containers. We have a multifunctional chassis to transport these containers.

Customs handling
With regard to the formalities of container handling, we offer two options within GD-iTS Group:

1. Clearance: We arrange for the containers to go through customs officially and ensure that the necessary taxes, such as VAT and import duties, are paid.
   
2. Bonded: The containers are transported under customs supervision. VAT or import duties are then not yet paid on the goods in the container.

Dangerous goods transport

All goods that contain a (lithium) battery nowadays qualify as ‘dangerous goods’ (ADR). Think of various electrical devices, from drills to inverters, for example. When distributing, storing and transhipping dangerous goods, you need to take numerous legislation into account.

G. van Doesburg Int. Transport helps you determine the class in which your dangerous goods belong. We achieve this by:

• Having our drivers and vehicles comply with the most recent regulations according to the ADR.
• Providing the correct packaging, labelling and documentation required for different modes of transport.

Intermodal transport

In intermodal transport, road and rail transport are combined. Goods are transported in standardised containers, semi-trailers or swap bodies, so they are easily transferred from one means of transport to another.

Refrigerated transport

In addition to regular transport, G. van Doesburg Int. Transport B.V. can also provide refrigerated transport. Our trucks are equipped with conditioned trailers, which can freeze and cool, ensuring optimum temperature control. Refrigerated transport is of great importance for transporting perishable goods, such as foodstuffs.
