Italy Specialist

Over the years, G. van Doesburg Transport has specialised in international transport to and from Italy. Even within the Italian borders, our own Dutch drivers – many of whom live in Italy and speak fluent Italian- know the logistics network better than most. All transport movements are coordinated from our headquarters in Zaltbommel.

Intermodal transport

Goods can be transported by road, rail, sea or any combination thereof. Modalities are determined based on the lay of the land, the destination, infrastructure and desired transit time. A combination of road and rail transportation can significantly reduce freight costs. Transporting larger volumes and heavier loads intermodally also makes for more sustainable transport.

Own equipment

Unlike other carriers, the drivers of G. van Doesburg Transport drive their own equipment, in, to and from Italy. This gives greater control over the entire international transport process. It also means we can guarantee the transport quality and keep costs low.
